The Indus Civilization Tour is a complete journey through Pakistan’s ancient and classical history, stretching from the Arabian Sea in the south to the high mountain regions of the north. This tour covers the great Indus Valley sites of Moenjodaro and Harappa, the Islamic and Sufi heritage of Multan and Lahore, the Gandhara Buddhist civilization of Taxila and Swat, and the prehistoric rock carvings along the Karakoram Highway. It is designed for travelers who want a deep understanding of Pakistan’s archaeological, cultural, and historical roots.

ITINERARY – Indus Civilization Tour – 19 Days

Day 1-2: Arrive Karachi.

Arrive in Karachi. City tour covering historical buildings, museums, and coastal heritage.

Day 3: Karachi / Moenjodaro / Sukkar.

Travel Karachi to Moenjodaro. Visit the ancient ruins and museum. Continue to Sukkur. Overnight stay.

Day 4-6: Sukkar / Bahawalpur / Lal Suhanra.

Sukkur to Bahawalpur. Visit Lal Suhanra National Park and explore the desert region around Bahawalpur.

Day 7: Lal Suhanra / Multan.

Travel from Lal Suhanra to Multan. Evening visit to Sufi shrines.

Day 8: Multan / Lahore.

Day 14: Chilas / Gilgit

Day 15-16: Trek to Hispar Gole. Camp

Chilas to Gilgit. Explore ancient rock carvings and early trade route markings along the Karakoram Highway.

Day 17-18: Islamabad.

Gilgit to Islamabad. Rest day and optional visit to Taxila archaeological sites.

Day 19: Transfer to International Airport for fly to onwards destination.
