OVERVIEW & ITINERARY

Details

K6 is a towering peak in the Charakusa Valley of northern Pakistan, often referred to as one of the most challenging climbs in the Karakorum Range. It is the 89th highest mountain in the world, standing at an impressive 7,282 meters. The North Face of K6 is a formidable 3,000-meter vertical face of rock, ice, and snow, making it a thrilling ascent for advanced mountaineers.

The peak was first successfully climbed in 1970 by an Austrian expedition led by Edi Koblmüller. Since then, only two successful ascents have been made, making this climb a rare and significant achievement in the world of mountaineering. The steep, sheer walls and breathtaking relief above the nearby valleys make K6 one of the most iconic and impressive peaks in the Karakorum.
