OVERVIEW & ITINERARY

Details

Spantik, at 7,027 meters, is one of the most accessible 7,000-meter peaks in the Karakoram Range. Known for its relatively easy ascent compared to other peaks in the region, it provides an excellent challenge for climbers looking to gain experience at high altitudes. Its Southeast Ridge is the most commonly used route, making it a popular choice for climbers who want to tackle a high peak without the extreme technical difficulties found on other summits like K2.

Climbers are rewarded with stunning views of neighboring peaks like Rakaposhi, Diran, and K2. The climb is a mix of harder and easier patches, making it ideal for those with some experience on smaller peaks. However, the climb still requires proper highaltitude experience, a strong physical condition, and the ability to navigate snow and glaciers.
