OVERVIEW & ITINERARY
Details
Tirich Mir (7,708 meters) is the highest peak in the Hindukush Mountain Range, and is often referred to as the “King of the Hindukush”. The peak is part of a chain of mountains that includes the Tirich Mir Main and several other notable peaks such as the North Barum and Tirichs glaciers. Known for its majestic beauty, Tirich Mir presents a unique challenge to climbers with its steep and difficult ascent.
The North Face of Tirich Mir has long been a coveted objective for experienced climbers, with its technical routes and complex glacier system. The first successful ascent of this mountain was made in 1965 by a German-Austrian expedition led by Kurt Diemberger, Herwig Handler, and Fritz Lindner.
Climbers will encounter a wide range of terrains, including rocky ridges, glacial ice, and steep slopes, making this a true test of endurance and mountaineering skills. This expedition is designed for highly experienced climbers seeking to conquer one of the toughest peaks in the Hindukush.
