ITINERARY – Hunza Panorama (10 Days)
Arrive in Islamabad. Afternoon city tour of Islamabad. Overnight stay at hotel.
Drive to Besham. Enroute visit Taxila Museum and Dharmarajika Stupa. Overnight stay at hotel.
Drive on the Karakorum Highway to Gilgit. Enroute view Nanga Parbat at 8126 meters. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning sightseeing of Gilgit and visit to Kargah Nala to see the Buddha carved in rock. Afternoon drive to Karimabad Hunza beneath Rakaposhi at 7788 meters. Overnight stay at hotel.
Sightseeing in Karimabad. Visit Altit and Baltit Forts, the former residence of the Mir of Hunza. Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning drive to Hopper and walk on the Hopper Glacier. Afternoon short drive to Gulmit. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day walk to Borit Lake and visit Passu Glacier. Return to Gulmit for overnight stay.
Drive to Chilas on the Karakorum Highway. Overnight stay at hotel.
Drive from Chilas to Islamabad along the Karakorum Highway following the Indus River. Overnight stay at hotel.
Transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
