Details
Jeep Safari Cum Trekking is a long overland adventure that combines 4×4 jeep travel with short mountain walks and treks. This journey crosses three great mountain ranges of Pakistan, the Western Himalaya, Karakoram, and Hindukush. The route covers Kaghan Valley, Babusar Pass, Fairy Meadows, Hunza, Skardu, Deosai Plains, Astore, Rupal Valley of Nanga Parbat, Kalash Valleys, Chitral, Swat, and Peshawar.
This tour is designed for travelers who want scenic drives, cultural encounters, light trekking, and exposure to remote mountain life in one complete journey.
ITINERARY – Jeep Safari Cum Trekking – 24 Days
Arrive in Islamabad. Transfer to hotel. Visit Taxila museum and archaeological sites.
Drive to Naran. Overnight in hotel.
Day trip to Lake Saiful Muluk. Return to Naran.
Drive from Saiful Muluk area to Chilas. Overnight in hotel.
Drive to Tato. Walk around 2 hours to Fairy Meadows. Overnight in huts.
Explore Fairy Meadows with views of Nanga Parbat.
Walk back to Tato. Drive to Raikot and onward to Gilgit. Overnight in hotel.
Drive from Gilgit to Gulmit. Overnight in hotel.
Walk across Ghulkin Glacier to Borit Lake. Drive to Passu. Overnight in hotel.
Drive to Karimabad Hunza. Overnight in hotel.
Day walk to Ultar Meadow and possibly up to Hon Pass. Return to Karimabad.
Drive to Skardu. Overnight in hotel.
Day trips to Kachura Lake and Shangrila Resort.
Drive to Deosai Plains. Overnight in camp.
Drive from Deosai to Tarishing in Rupal Valley. Camp overnight.
Trek from Tarishing to Rupal or Bhizin area. Camp overnight.
Trek to Latoboi, Nanga Parbat Rupal Face Base Camp. Camp overnight.
Trek back to Tarishing. Drive by jeep to Rama Lake. Camp overnight.
Drive from Rama Lake to Gilgit. Overnight in hotel.
Drive to Mastuj. Overnight in hotel.
Drive to Kalash Valley. Overnight in hotel.
Morning free in Kalash Valley. Afternoon drive to Dir. Overnight in hotel.
Drive from Dir to Peshawar or Islamabad.
Transfer to airport for onward destination.
