The Karakorum Haramosh Trek is a short yet scenic trek in the Karakoram Mountains, ideal for trekkers who want a peaceful mountain experience without extreme altitude. This trek explores the beautiful Haramosh Valley, passing through alpine meadows, clear streams, pine forests, and the rocky Mani Glacier. The highlight of the trek is Kutwal Lake, a stunning campsite surrounded by dramatic peaks, including Haramosh Peak (7409 m) and views towards Haramosh La.

ITINERARY – Karakorum Harmosh Trek – 10 Days

Day 1: Arrival Islamabad, Hotel

Arrival in Islamabad. Transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly to Gilgit, Or Drive to Chilas, Hotel

Fly to Gilgit or drive to Chilas. Overnight in hotel.

Day 3: Drive Either From Chilas/Gilgit to Dassu (Dacha), and Trek to Iskere, summer village at 2000m, camp

Drive from Gilgit or Chilas to Dassu (Dacha). Trek to Iskere, a summer village at 2000 m. Camp overnight.

Day 4: Ascend across Mani Glacier to Kutwal Lake at 2500 M. An Ideal Spot for a rest

Ascend across Mani Glacier to Kutwal Lake at 2500 m. Camp at Kutwal Lake.

Day 5: Day at The end Of Harmosh, Camp

Free day for exploration around Kutwal Lake. Camp overnight.

Day 6: Day free for exploration, Camp

Return trek from Kutwal Lake to Iskere. Camp overnight.

Day 7: Return Trek to Iskera, Camp

Trek from Iskere to Dassu and drive to Gilgit. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Trek to Dassu, and drive to Gilgit

Road journey from Gilgit to Besham. Overnight stay.

Day 9: Road Journey to Besham

Continue drive from Besham to Islamabad. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10: Continue to Islamabad Fly Home

Transfer to airport for onward flight. End of the trek.
